1.3.3. Testing

Although having fulfilled the processing phase, the application is not yet finished. Now, w have to test the application in two ways:

  • First of all the application has to be tested in several browser softwares especially in the most common ones such as Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, etc.
  • Additionally, the application ought be tested on different platforms such as Microsoft, Apple Macintosh and Unix.

When testing the application in different browsers and on different platforms the following items have to be controlled
  • Presentation of Application: Font, Colours, Letter Spacing, etc.
  • Animation: Do the animations act up?
  • Interaction parts: Do the interaction parts act up?

After having finished one of these testing phases, the application has to be adapted to the results of the tests.
