1.4. Evaluation and Marketing

Learning Objectives

You will be able...

  • ...to describe the cycle of evaluating an application and adapt it to its results.
  • ...to list the differences between the marketing of a CD-ROM and a Web application.

After having finished the development of a multimedia application it is important to make an evaluation of the project. Persons that are part of the target audience have to test the application for its termusability, its functionalities, etc. The application has to be adapted to the results of this evaluation. These steps have to be cycled several times, until the application fits to the requirements of the target audience. This unit will handle this issue.

After having adapted the application to the results of the evaluation, the application is ready to be published. How an application is best merchandised is part of this unit as well.
